The bootloader is supposed to load the kernel, so it needs that too, the bootloader is not smart enough to extract kernel.mnt from Kolibri.img<br>
(In fact, you may even remove kernel.mnt from kolibri.img !)<br>
You also need kolibri.img, with the programs etc for kolibrios, the kernel will load this file and create the ramdisk

The bootloader is supposed to load the kernel, so it needs that too, the bootloader is not smart enough to extract kernel.mnt from Kolibri.img
(In fact, you may even remove kernel.mnt from kolibri.img !)
